Crafts for a Cause Valentines

What?
This is the second of a series of
holiday-themed workshops that I (Hannah
Johnston) will offering to kindergarten and grade one students. During this
two hour period, my friend and I
will be leading age-appropriate crafts,
games, as well as engaging students
in other educational activities. (Please
wear clothes you can jump around in!)
When/Where?
#1. Saturday February 8th from: 1pm-3pm (10
spots available)
#2. Sunday February 9th
from: 10am-12pm (10 spots available)
Price? $15 per child (covers
supplies costs + fundraising for soccer trip to Uganda) *see below
How to register?
Please include:
1. Your
child’s name
2. The
workshop your child will be attending (#1 or #2)
3. An
emergency contact number.

Why?
In March 2015 I will be
traveling to Uganda with other soccer players from my school to teach girls
soccer. I will be paying for this trip myself; therefore, I will be running
holiday themed craft workshops throughout the school year to fundraise for this
once in a lifetime opportunity
About Me!

-Grade 10 French immersion student at Vancouver Technical
-On Honor role and Principal’s list (90% or higher in all
classes)
-Experienced babysitter/tutor
-Q.V.A. and Laura Secord alumni (my sister Bronwyn is in
kindergarten!)
– Member of Vancouver Olympic Club (I have competed nationally
with track and field)
- Played soccer for ICSF and VFC
-Modeled for Ivviva Athletica
–Member of Sustainability Club at my school
